Chef de Partie

Location: Reigate Area
Hours: 11:00am–7:30pm
Contract: 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7
Pay: £14.41 per hour
Term Time Only: 44 weeks per year

We are recruiting a Chef de Partie on behalf of well-established specialist contract catering companies. You will join the kitchen team at an independent school near Reigate and Caterham, Surrey. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will support the management of daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and maintaining the company’s strong reputation.

Key Responsibilities of Chef De Partie

• Work collaboratively with all team members, assisting in both kitchen and service areas to ensure an effective and efficient service.
• Plan, prepare and cook menu items as directed by the Head Chef.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and in line with company, client and manufacturer guidelines.
• Work well under pressure and deliver tasks in a timely manner.
• Provide friendly, efficient service to colleagues and customers.
• Demonstrate commitment to company values at all times.
• Support and assist the Sous Chef when required.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislation.

About You

You will have proven experience in a professional catering environment with the skills and knowledge to produce fresh, timely food. You thrive in a busy kitchen, remain calm under pressure, work well within a dedicated team, and consistently follow current health and hygiene standards.

Working Pattern: Sunday to Thursday
Hours: 11:00am–7:30pm
