Job Title:  Catering Staff

Salary: Up to £21.55 per hour

Flexible / shift-based (depending on business needs)

Location: Southwest London, Southern Home Counties

Role Overview

We are seeking reliable and professional Catering Staff to support food preparation and service across various school sites. The role requires a strong commitment to food safety, hygiene, and safeguarding, particularly when working in environments involving children or vulnerable adults.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food
• Serve food and beverages in a safe, friendly, and professional manner
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchens and service areas
• Follow food safety regulations and company procedures at all times
• Support setup and breakdown of catering areas and equipment
• Work effectively as part of a catering team to ensure smooth service
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and professional conduct standards

Essential Requirements

• Valid Enhanced DBS check
• Registered on the DBS Update Service
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (Food Safety in Catering)
• Right to work in the UK
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or food service
• Experience working in schools
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Respectful and aware of safeguarding responsibilities
