Salary £40,000-£45,000 (Dependent on Experience)+ £2k Bonus

Location – Maidenhead

Hours – 50 hours per week, Monday – Friday

Term time only – 42 weeks per year

The Chef Manager is responsible for overseeing the culinary operations within the school, ensuring high-quality food preparation, maintaining sanitation standards, and managing kitchen staff. This role involves menu planning, inventory management, cost control, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional food service.

The Role:

• Develop and implement seasonal, nutritious, and appealing menus that meet dietary requirements
• Ensure all meals are prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards.
• Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Organize shift schedules and ensure team efficiency.
• Foster a positive and professional kitchen environment.
• Manage food and supply costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Monitor stock levels and place timely orders to avoid waste and shortages.
• Maintain accurate records of expenses and work within budget constraints.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to HACCP guidelines.
