Chef Manager / 8250

Location: Liphook

Salary: £36,000-£40,000

Hours of Work: 40 hours, Monday to Friday – no weekends.

Term-Time only – 39 working weeks

Our highly esteemed client are looking for an exceptional and experienced Chef Manager to join their team based in a Secondary School site on the Hampshire/Surrey Border. The successful postholder will hone fantastic craft skills with a background of developing and leading a team to help create outstanding food.

As Chef Manager, you will share a passion about ensuring future generations are provided with nutritious and delicious food, while also inspiring them to lead a healthier lifestyle.

As Chef Manager you:

• Have good communication skills at all levels
• Have a positive outgoing disposition and real ‘Can-do’ approach
• Are passionate about food with a great eye for detail
• Have the ability to lead a team
• Are able to manage the kitchen and train the team to standards required
• Have financial and budget awareness
• The ability to understand and complete daily all relevant food and health and safety compliance books
• Flexible to work overtime as required
