Data Administrator
Contract: 3-6 months
Rate: £11.80 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 till 16:30 (40 hours per week)
Job Purpose:
Our client, a successful manufacturer are looking for a Data Entry Clerk that will be responsible for entering and updating a variety of data into their systems with accuracy and efficiency. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity and completeness of the company’s data records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working with databases and spreadsheets
Responsibilities of the Data Administrator:
- Data Entry: Accurately input and update data in various systems and databases, ensuring consistency and correctness.
- Data Verification: Review data for accuracy and completeness, making corrections as needed.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain and organize electronic and physical files as required for company data and documentation.
- Report Generation: Assist with generating periodic data reports and summaries for team leads or department managers.
- Document Processing: Scan, file, and organize documents to maintain up-to-date records.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to company data policies, confidentiality, and security protocols when handling sensitive information.
- Quality Control: Identify data discrepancies or errors and work to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education:
- GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English; further qualifications in data handling or office administration are beneficial.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in a data entry or administrative role is advantageous.
- Use of an MRP system – Preferably Oracle
- Skills:
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy.
- Keen attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work to deadlines.
