Senior Storekeeper

Location: Dorking

7.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 3.00pm on a Friday

Rate: Up to £25,100per  DOE + Benefits

Full Time Permanent

Our client is looking for a Senior Stores person to join their lovely team based in Dorking. The role is a full-time permanent contract and is a great opportunity for someone looking to start immediately, and who enjoys being part of the warehouse environment.

Duties of the role

• To receive packages from suppliers: these must be opened and checked.
• To complete inventory counts as required and ensure locations are kept tidy.
• Help & support other members of the warehouse team
• Unload deliveries of goods.
• Movement and putting away stock from warehouse/manufacturing work centres and moving around site.
• Receiving, checking and raising Goods Received Notes (GRN’s) for all goods entering the company.
• Other general warehouse duties

The Ideal Person

• Previous warehouse or similar experience required.
• Forklift license advantageous
• Have previous experience in stock control systems would be an advantage but not necessary.
• IT Literate
• Team player
• Strong work ethic
