Job Description

Our client, a lovely family run pub and restaurant just outside of Alton, are seeking an experienced Chef to join their friendly Kitchen team.

Assisting the Head Chef prepare a comprehensive and very diverse menu of Hot Fresh Food, sourced either as Home Grown produce or from Local suppliers, you will support the preparation and delivery of high quality food ranging from an A la Carte, Daily Carvery and extensive Pizza menu.

Ideally, thou not essentially, you will be an NVQ qualified chef with experience in pubs/restaurants, most essentially the Client is really looking for a Chef with the right personality that’s to fit in with their very close-knit friendly team.

Working a 45-hour week, which is currently worked over 5 split shifts per week, there is an intention to change this to straight shifts in the near future. Two consecutive days off in the week are guaranteed, and these will typically be the same reoccurring two days.

Subject to experience a salary of between £9 and £12 per hour will be paid, this equates to £21,060 and £28,080 per annum and will include all statutory entitlements and benefits.
