Job Description

Our Client is a UK leading convertible roof repairs specialist. From soft top repairs to non-operational roof systems, they find the best solutions for cabriolet owners of all makes and models.  They are looking for a professional, skilled and friendly Admin Assistant to join their growing Redhill Team.    

This role is working Monday to Friday plus one Saturday in every four.  The Salary is £22k to £24k dependent on experience.

As Customer Services/Administrator you will be required to carry out the following duties:

  • Responsible for receiving incoming calls and manning reception desk, ensuring each call dealt with correctly with high level of customer service. 
  • Present the clients services and skills over the phone to secure bookings. 
  • Meet and greet customers into reception, confirming booking details and relaying information to the workshop. 
  • Respond to customer enquiries via email, social media, telephone and face to face. 
  • Diary management using internal booking system.
  • Communicate repair requirement to customers vehicles clearly, selling the job and answering any doubts they may have – helping them to make a decision. 
  • Key liaison between Customer/Workshop/Office.
  • Have good control and knowledge over vehicle repair and collection, with good communication between teams for ultimate efficiency and turnaround of vehicles.
  • Update the database with customer information accurately.
  • Generate Invoices and take payments.
  • Liaise with customers, workshop and external subcontractors.
  • Assist Office Manager with Health & Safety responsibilities
  • Help train new entrants into the office team
  • Assist the Office Manager with any duties asked to perform within the team. 
  • Take control of the team & duties when Office Manager is absent

Person Specification

  • Have a high level of customer service.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.  
  • Strong Organisation skills.  
  • Enjoy working a part of a friendly team.  
  • Good IT skill with knowledge or Microsoft office suite.  
  • Keen to learn new skills.  
  •  “Can Do” attitude.  
  • Works well under pressure
