Job Description

Our Dorking based Client is actively looking to employ Production Operatives to work the machinery, lines, and packaging of their products. They are a family founded company that have become part of a much bigger company over the past years, they are passionate about their products and are always striving to improve.

As a Production Operative you will need to be fully fit, able to work largely on your feet and carry out manual tasks in both a safe and structured manner. Having good communication skills is also necessary as the position includes working within a team of 8 personnel.

Your general responsibilities will include:

·         Packing product

·         Running production lines

·         Setting up and monitoring machinery

·         Loading and unloading deliveries

·         Reporting to the store manager

·         Date checking and ensuring stock rotation

·         Responsibly comply with Warehouse Health and Safety requirements

·         Other general production duties


The ideal candidate will:

·         Be comfortable standing for long periods of time.

·         Be physically fit (able to lift 25kg.)

·         Work individually as well as part of a team.

·         Have common sense.

·         Have some experience within a Production or Warehouse Operative role.


This is a full-time position and a permanent role, working Monday -Thursday, 8am to 4.45pm and Friday, 8am - 3pm.

The current salary is between £21,850 and £22,850 per annum, depending on previous experience.
