Our Client based in West Meon, a successful growing business providing sophisticated testing in the fascinating fields of cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and food, has a new exciting opportunity to join their team as an experienced Internal Sales Executive. Leading manufacturing companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, Procter & Gamble and Unilever are part of their current enviable client base.
Due to being experts within a highly specialized market, new contacts and customers alike are very often interested in working with our client, an enviable situation for any sales person making outbound contacts!
As the Internal Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing the business through sales activities in a variety of industries.
Your tasks will include:
- Sourcing new leads and making direct telephone approaches to potential customers
- Making outbound calls to warm prospects and previous customers currently on the database
- Managing and building our relationships with current customers
- Generating quotations, following up and closing orders
- Maintaining the customer database
- Attending occasional exhibitions and visiting customers in the UK and overseas
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven outbound sales experience
- An inquisitive mind
- Be results driven
- Be computer literate
- Excellent written and communication skills
Working Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, the Internal Sales Executive will, subject to experience, earn between £22k to £32K per annum basic with an OTE between £26k to £36k.
Due to the rural location your own transport is absolutely essential.
