We’re delighted to welcome Tracey Gregory to the team as our new Assistant Temp Controller.

Tracey has recently returned to the world of work after taking some time out on a sabbatical to renovate her home — and we couldn’t be happier to have her with us. Her warmth, organisation, and people-first mindset make her a perfect fit for our busy team.

I sat down with Tracey to learn a bit more about what drives her, what she loves about recruitment, and what she enjoys outside of work.

Can you tell us a little about your background and what brought you into the world of recruitment?
“I’ve always loved talking to people, and recruitment gives me the chance to do just that — every single day. It’s incredibly rewarding to connect with new individuals, understand their skills and ambitions, and help them find opportunities that truly fit.”

When things get busy, how do you stay organised and keep track of all the moving parts — temps, clients, and bookings?
“Pause. Prioritize. Proceed. That’s my motto. I like to make a master list that keeps me focused and ensures nothing slips through the cracks. It helps me stay calm and efficient, even when the pace picks up.”

What do you think makes a great day in recruitment?
“For me, a great day is all about impact, connection, and momentum. Whether it’s sending out a CV, booking an interview, securing a job offer, or closing a placement — every step counts. Building trust with clients and candidates is at the heart of it all.”

What do you enjoy most about working with people — whether that’s candidates, clients, or your team?
“I love seeing how the right connection can change someone’s career or boost a business’s success. There’s nothing quite like hearing that a candidate has accepted an offer or that a client is thrilled with their new hire. I also really value collaboration — working with clients, candidates, and my own team. I enjoy that shared energy of problem-solving together, celebrating wins, and learning from different perspectives.”

And finally, when you’re not at work, how do you like to spend your time?
“I enjoy spending time with my cat and helping family and friends. It’s the perfect way to relax and recharge.”
